If Teddy Bears Could Talk: an introduction

For most of my adult life my closest friends have called me Teddy Bear. I'm a big guy at 6' tall and weighing in @ 285 pounds, but the biggest thing about me is my heart. I've never met a bad person, I've met many confused, or lost people that have made bad choices but they have good in them. It just takes someone willing to find the good in them to find it. Don't get me wrong there are people that do not want the good in them to be seen and refuse to live a good life. My philosophy is simple, I believe that by living life showing love and compassion to others there is nothing you can't achieve. For many years I thought making a living was more important than spending time with my family so I worked a lot, as I've gotten older and transformed into Papa Bear as many, of my cubs now call me, the physical and emotional toll that it has taken has taught me a lesson I wish to pass on. Work hard but make certain your family comes first because at the end of the day it's not the size of the bank account that will matter. It's the time invested in family and friends that will live on past your years.
